QlockedOut 1.4 by injust29 QlockedOut 1.4 by injust29
New variation on the QlockTwo.com word clock. Inspiration also from AnelectricQlock.

Middle mouse click on the clock to show/hide the configuration window. You can switch between preset options for font face and size, although with minimal editing one could resize the clock to any size, or use nearly any fixed-width/monospace font.

UPDATE v1.4
- Bug fix: time of day measurements always showed "Morning" after 00:00 even if MorningStart was set.

UPDATE v1.3
- Fixed small bug in code where time of day measurements were off by one hour.

UPDATE v1.2
- Tweaked code to allow the periods for the time of the day (morning, afternoon, evening, night) to be altered using variables (vars.inc in the @Resources folder).

UPDATE v1.1
- Change the "O'CLOCK" to only light up on the hour, but off at all other times.
- Update screenshot

For me it is buggy and the words light up different from where they should be, any tips?

What operating system and Rainmeter version are you using? I recently upgraded my system to Windows 8 from Windows 7 (which I used to design this skin), and have noticed that Windows 8 renders text somewhat differently, which causes the text to be off by a couple pixels in some cases. If this is your issue, then I'm not quite sure yet what a solution is; I'll update you if I figure anything out.

I am using windows 7, and the main problem is the first 'I' in 'IT IS' gone. The most words pop up where other words are supposed to be.

Can you send me a screen shot of the issue?

Hmm... Did you manually edit any part of the skin? I've never seen a bug like this before, and I've used it myself on both Win8 and Win7, and I've seen others' screenshots of their use of it as well on various computers. Try re-downloading and installing the skin again just to be sure. And check your debug log for any errors (right click Rainmeter icon -> About).

I did nothing, it just appeared that way, I tried reinstalling it before, but nothing changes and no bugs, guess I'll just give up. Thank anyway :)

How does it look if you change the size and/or font? You can do this by middle mouse clicking anywhere on the clock, then clicking an option. Perhaps there's some issue with your installed font(s) in Windows.

you know what would be cool? A square version. And yes, I know there are square versions, but none of them fit the omnimo size (default square size)

I'll think about it, but there already are so many that are square. Are you looking for one that's easily resizable like this one? and has days/months/dates as well?

hmm... that would be cool. I mainly want a square one like yours, where you can adjust the size :p all the ones I've found are too big to fit in well with the omnimo theme

Do you have the lastest version of Rainmeter installed and have *.rmskin as a default file type for Rainmeter? You should be able just open the *.rmskin file and have Rainmeter recognize it, ask you to install, and it should load the skin right up.

This is due to some new security features in .rmskin, to protect our users. If you edit a .rmskin in any way outside the Rainmeter tool, it will become invalid and won't install.

Your .rmskin package is invalid. Did you perhaps unzip and rezip it outside of the Skin Package tool in Rainmeter? If so, it will fail to install. The package MUST be created on using the tool.

Ah, okay. I was unaware of that. I modified it with 7zip to remove a couple extra files that I had in the folder structure that were not part of the skin. It's been updated now. Thanks for letting me know!
