LIM!T skin suite [1.2]

A new, simple skin suite I made. The text "fills" up as its value grows. For example: as seconds pass, the Minutes text fills up; as minute pass, the Hours text fills up; as Hours pass, the AM/PM text fills up; etc.

* The current weather temperature is shown in text, and is filled by 3 bars (blue: low temp; red: high temp; gold: current temp), so at a glance you can see how the current temperature compares to the high and low for the day.

* Hovering over the weather shows numerical values for high and low; hovering over the forecast gives numerical values for those highs and lows.

* Uses my automatic geo IP location for weather, but gives option for manual weather station.

* Use CoreTemp for cpu core temperature readings.

* All skins are easily scalable.

* Font used: Hasteristico by Alvaro Thomaz

Version 1.2 (2013-06-03)
- Fixed a bug with the new Battery meter

Version 1.1 (2013-06-02)
- Added Battery meter to system value displays; implemented as a variant to the existing system skin, so it is optional to display the Battery value

Version 1.0 (2012-12-22)
- Initial Release

I've set manual weather to 1 and set my weather station and saved changes. Every time I launch it goes to Geographic location instead of the manual. Edit the ini and I see it changed the location code back. So frustrating.

Otherwise love this skin.

I'm new to this so I'm sorry if this is a basic question...
I modified the music player skin to control Spotify, which was surprisingly successful (haven't tried to modify/understand code like this in about 10 years) but for some reason the album art isn't showing up? I don't know if there's anything you can think of that would cause this but if you have any ideas I'd appreciate them.

Right click on the clock > Edit Skin

Near the top, find the Measures section and change the one that says

[mHour]
Measure=Time
Format=%I

to

[mHour]
Measure=Time
Format=%H

(change I to H)

Open the Rainmeter Skins folder (or right click on the skin and select the top option) and navigate to LIM!T\resources\limvar.ini. That file has all of the variables with comments that you can easily edit.

No, I mean you CAN do that already. Each skin is written with a Size variable that you, the user, can manually edit to your liking. So if you want it a different size, just make that one small change.

Just right click on any skin, Edit Skin, then read in the [Variables] section of the skin file, near the top. There's a variable size=150 or something like that. Just adjust this value how you see fit, and the entire skin will resize. Each piece has it's own size variable, so you can fully tweak the sizes.

A battery meter, in the same vain as the system, would be amazing. I'd do it myself, but this skin is a bit more complicated than my current skill set can handle.

Updated to include a Battery meter. It seems I had considered this when designing the skin, because I already had a calculation measure in the skin file for a battery, but no meter displaying it. Now you can opt to include "BATT" at the end of the system skin. Anything more you'd like to change should be relatively easy with a moderate understanding of Rainmeter skins.

That is faannntastic. Thank you! I've been screwing with this thing for hours.

I surely don't mean to sound ungrateful, but the BATT fills weird... as in, only the "B" fills, and there are three small white lines at the bottom of the "A". Here's a link to a screen shot.

And thank you again.

Woops! I forgot to test before I posted. It was clipping the text, so that was "B..." I just had to change the width so that it doesn't clip. Re-download and you should be good.

What do you think, could beta ver. of Rainmeter (3.0) be reason of no-instalation of your config? I would like to have it, but I can't :(

I just tried it out and this skin DOES work with the latest Beta 3.0 r1871; however, it does NOT work with the opt-in Direct2D (UseD2D=1) feature. You should have this disabled in order to use this skin properly.

Is it possible to enter negative temerature in Celsius for TempMin parameter?
My comp temperature isn't working? Do you have any suggestions, what can I change to fix it?

Thanx and great work... :)

Yes, you can enter negative values (e.g. TempMin=(-20) ). Just be sure to enclose the value in parentheses to make sure that value is inserted correctly in other measures.

Computer temperature requires running the program CoreTemp (not part of Rainmeter) in the background.

To use a manual weather station:

* First find your weather station code: [link]
* Right click on the LIM!T weather skin and select Edit Skin. At the top in the Variables section you will find some options and comments. Set ManualWeather=1 and WeatherStation=YOURCODE (the code you found in the first step).
* Save and Refresh Skin.

To change the media player:

* Choose a supported player and find how it is named in Rainmeter (e.g. Windows Media Player is named "WMP" in Rainmeter). [link]
* Right click on the LIM!T player skin and select Edit Skin. Again, at the top in the Variables section, you will find some options. Set the option Player=WMP (or another player you wish to use).
* Save and Refresh Skin.

Hope this helps! Just as a general suggestion: Most skin options are found in their respective Variable sections in my skins.
